Last week I had the opportunity to shoot VMan Ford Model Search finalist Nicholas Madrid, represented by Specimen and signed with Ford Men. Nick happened to be in LA, so I jumped at the offer.

I wanted to add something useful to Nick’s book – a hard thing to accomplish, since he’s already been shot for VMan by Terry Richardson. Instead of aiming for bells and whistles, Eugene and I decided to play up Nick’s cowboy roots, and shoot some low key portraits with a Western vibe. Thanks Sean, for sending him over, and thank you Nick – it was a lot of fun shooting with you.
